Welcome to the Michigan Triangle Area Club (M-TAC), serving members of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan in the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) of North Carolina, as well as all of eastern and central North Carolina from Greensboro to Greenville. All members of the Alumni Association living in the area are automatically members of M-TAC, and there are no additional dues to pay. M-TAC events (and our e-mail list) are open to all former students or Michigan fans in the area.
What We Do
M-TAC is a resource for former students, prospective students, and fans of the University of Michigan in the area. We provide opportunities for social interaction, networking, learning, volunteer work, student recruiting, and support for students from the local area. Some of our activities in the past couple of years have included:
Weekly football-watching in the fall Scholarship awards to two U-M students from the Triangle area Volunteer work at the Food Bank of Durham Annual Wine and cheese tasting Annual M-TAC Euchre Tournament Softball game vs MSU alumni Annual trip to a Durham Bulls game
