Welcome to the Michigan Triangle Alumni Club (M-TAC), serving members of the University of Michigan Alumni Association in eastern and central North Carolina (we cover the area from Greensboro to Greenville). All members of the U-M Alumni Association living in the area are automatically members of M-TAC, and there are no additional dues to pay.  M-TAC events (and our e-mail list) are open to all former students or Michigan fans in the area.

What We Do

M-TAC is a resource for former students, prospective students, and fans of the University of Michigan in the area.  We provide opportunities for social interaction, networking, learning, volunteer work, student recruiting, and support for students from the local area.  Some of our activities in the past couple of years have included:

• Weekly football-watching at Oh' Mulligans in Morrisville
• Scholarship awards to two U-M students from the Triangle area
• Volunteer work at the Ronald McDonald House in Durham
• Annual Wine and cheese tasting
• Annual M-TAC Euchre Tournament
• "Blood Battle" (blood donation) vs. Ohio State alumni
• Softball game vs MSU alumni
• Annual dinner featuring Dr. Alan Saltiel, from U-M Life Sciences Institute
• Volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity

If you're a member of the U-M Alumni Association, you also qualify for additional membership benefits.
